5.NBT.A.3a. Major Standard: Read, write, and compare decimals to thousandths (builds on grade 4 work to hundredths) – Read and write decimals to thousandths using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form, e.g. 347.392 = 3x100+4x10+7x1+3x(1/10)+9x(1/100)+2x(1/1000).
