Cellular Structure
Cellular structure refers to the organization and composition of cells, which are the basic units of life. Cells have a variety of structures that enable them to carry out essential functions such as growth, metabolism, and reproduction.

- Lysosomes: Contain digestive enzymes for breaking down waste materials and cellular debris.
- Chloroplasts (in plant cells): Site of photosynthesis, where sunlight is converted into chemical energy.
- Cell Membrane: Regulates the passage of substances into and out of the cell.
Cellular Structures and Functions
The structures and functions of cells are interconnected and work together to maintain the cell's homeostasis and carry out essential processes.
- Cell Wall (in plant cells): Provides structural support and protection for the cell.
- Cytoskeleton: Provides shape and support for the cell and is involved in cell movement.

- Microvilli: Increase the surface area of the cell for absorption and secretion.
