Parasitism is a type of symbiotic relationship in which one organism, the parasite, benefits at the expense of the other organism, the host. The parasite derives its nourishment from the host and may also cause harm to the host in the process. This relationship is often considered to be detrimental to the host, but not always fatal.
Identify and analyze forces responsible for changes in rotational motion and develop an understanding of the effect of rotational inertia on the motion of a rotating object (e.g., merry-go-round, spinning toy, spinning figure skater, stellar collapse [supernova], rapidly spinning pulsar).
