Living organisms can be classified into two main types based on the number of cells they are composed of: unicellular and multicellular. Multicellular organisms are made up of more than one cell, and these cells are specialized to perform specific functions within the organism.
Cell Differentiation:Cells in multicellular organisms differentiate to perform specific functions. This allows for division of labor within the organism.
Tissue Formation: Specialized cells of the same type come together to form tissues, which in turn form organs. This organization allows for more complex functions to be carried out.
Specialization: Different cell types within multicellular organisms are specialized to perform specific functions, such as nerve cells for communication and musclecells for movement.
