Parasitism is a type of symbiotic relationship in which one organism, the parasite, benefits at the expense of the other organism, the host. The parasite derives its nourishment from the host and may also cause harm to the host in the process. This relationship is often considered to be detrimental to the host, but not always fatal.
The student demonstrates an understanding of motions, forces, their characteristics, relationships, and effects by explaining that different kinds of materials respond to electric and magnetic forces (i.e., conductors, insulators, magnetic and non-magnetic materials).
