Colors are visible because of the way the human eye and brain respond to light. When light shines on an object, some colors are absorbed while others are reflected. The colors that are reflected are what we see. There are three primary colors - red, blue, and yellow - and when these colors are combined, they create secondary colors like green, orange, and purple.
