A family is a group of people who are related to each other. Families can include parents, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Families come in all shapes and sizes, and each family is unique.
Types of Families
There are different types of families, including:
Nuclear families - consisting of parents and their children
Extended families - including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins
Single-parent families - with one parent raising the children
Blended families - formed when parents with children from previous relationships marry
Heredity and Reproduction - A. Offspring of plants and animals are similar to, but not exactly like, their parents or each other. B. Life cycles vary among organisms, but reproduction is a major stage in the life cycle of all organisms.
