Life processes are the essential activities that all living organisms carry out to maintain their existence.

1. Nutrition:
   • Ingestion, digestion, absorption, and assimilation of food
   • Plants obtain nutrients through photosynthesis

2. Respiration:

3. Excretion:

5. Movement:

6. Reproduction:

   • Can occur through sexual or asexual means
7. Growth:
   • Increase in size or number of cells in an organism
   • Essential for development and repair
