Circulatory System
The circulatory system, also known as the cardiovascular system, is responsible for circulating blood and transporting essential nutrients, oxygen, and hormones to cells throughout the body. It also helps to remove waste products and carbon dioxide from the body.Components of the Circulatory System

Blood is composed of red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma. Red blood cells carry oxygen to the body's tissues, white blood cells help fight infections, platelets aid in blood clotting, and plasma is the liquid portion of blood that carries nutrients and waste products.Functions of the Circulatory System
