Angles
An angle is formed by two rays that share a common endpoint, called the vertex. Angles are measured in degrees, and the size of an angle is determined by the amount of rotation from one ray to the other.
There are different types of angles:
- Acute Angle: An angle that measures between 0 and 90 degrees.
- Right Angle: An angle that measures 90 degrees. It forms the shape of an "L".
- Obtuse Angle: An angle that measures between 90 and 180 degrees.
- Straight Angle: An angle that measures 180 degrees. It forms a straight line.
- Reflex Angle: An angle that measures between 180 and 360 degrees.
Angles can be identified using a protractor, and they are used in various geometric and trigonometric calculations.
