Pentagon

A pentagon is a polygon with five sides and five angles. The sum of the interior angles of a pentagon is always 540 degrees. Each interior angle of a regular pentagon measures 108 degrees.

A regular pentagon has all its sides and angles of equal length and measure. An irregular pentagon has sides and/or angles of different lengths and measures.

The perimeter of a pentagon is the sum of the lengths of its five sides. The area of a regular pentagon can be calculated using the formula:

Area = (5/4) * s^2 * (1 / tan(π/5))

Where s is the length of each side of the pentagon.
