What is Space?

Space is the vast, seemingly infinite expanse that exists beyond the Earth's atmosphere. It is where all celestial bodies such as stars, planets, moons, and galaxies are located. Space is characterized by the absence of air and the presence of vacuum, making it very different from the conditions on Earth.
