Aggression is a behavior that is intended to cause harm or pain to another individual. It can be physical, verbal, or relational, and is often driven by anger, frustration, or the desire to assert dominance.
Types of Aggression
Physical Aggression: This involves actions such as hitting, pushing, or other forms of physical violence.
Verbal Aggression: This includes insults, threats, and other forms of verbal abuse.
Relational Aggression: This type of aggression involves damaging someone's social relationships or reputation, such as spreading rumors or excluding them from a group.
Fifth Grade: Patterns; Scale, Proportion, and Quantity
Physical Sciences: Students develop an understanding that changes can occur to matter/objects on Earth or in space, but both energy and matter follow the pattern of being conserved during those changes.
Physical Science Standards
Analyze and interpret data to explain that matter of any type can be subdivided into particles too small to see and, in a closed system, if properties change or chemical reactions occur, the amount of matter stays the same.
