Interference is a concept in science that occurs when two or more waves meet and combine. This interaction can result in the waves reinforcing each other, known as constructive interference, or cancelling each other out, known as destructive interference.
Types of Interference
Constructive Interference:Occurs when two waves are in phase, meaning their peaks and troughs align, resulting in a wave with greater amplitude.
Destructive Interference:Occurs when two waves are out of phase, meaning their peaks and troughs do not align, resulting in a wave with reduced or zero amplitude.
Use models to describe that energy in animals’ food (used for body repair, growth, motion, and to maintain body warmth) was once energy from the sun.
