Perform the necessary calculations and operations to find the solution.**Check the Solution:**After finding a solution, review your work to ensure that it makes sense and answers the original problem.

There are various problem solving strategies that can be used to tackle different types of problems. Some common strategies include:

**Guess and Check:**Guessing a solution and checking to see if it works.**Draw a Picture:**Visualizing the problem by drawing a diagram or picture.**Make a Table:**Organizing data in a table to look for patterns or relationships.**Work Backward:**Starting with the end goal and working backward to find the steps needed to reach that goal.**Use Logical Reasoning:**Applying logical thinking to analyze and solve the problem.
