Celsius
Celsius is a unit of measurement for temperature. It is used in the metric system and is named after the Swedish astronomer Anders Celsius. The Celsius scale sets the freezing point of water at 0 degrees and the boiling point of water at 100 degrees at standard atmospheric pressure.
Converting Celsius to Fahrenheit
To convert a temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit, you can use the following formula:
Fahrenheit = (Celsius x 9/5) + 32
