Europe

Europe is a continent located entirely in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Eastern Hemisphere. It is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. Europe is the second smallest continent by surface area and the third most populous continent.

Geography

Europe is known for its diverse geography, including the Alps mountain range in the south, the Scandinavian and Carpathian mountain ranges in the north and east, and the fertile European Plain in the central and western regions. European Union

The European Union (EU) is a political and economic union of 27 member states that are located primarily in Europe. It has developed a single market through a standardized system of laws that apply in all member states, and it has also adopted a common currency, the euro, which is used by 19 of the member countries.
