Celsius

The Celsius scale is a temperature scale used in most of the world. It is based on the freezing point of water at 0 degrees and the boiling point of water at 100 degrees, under standard atmospheric pressure. The Celsius scale was developed by Swedish astronomer Anders Celsius in 1742.

Converting between Celsius and Fahrenheit

To convert a temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit, you can use the following formula:

Fahrenheit = (Celsius × 9/5) + 32

And to convert a temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius, you can use the following formula:

Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) × 5/9
